Post Water puddle on the passenger side and service warranty

Hello Fellows,

Got some questions for you all, i'm new into BMW and educating myself so bear with me and my questions. I bought this 2010 x3 and found out last week that after a heavy rain the front passenger side has water on it near the footwall, and 2 days before while I was driving on the highway it was raining hard, after the rain when I checked the passenger side I found same water puddle in there. The passenger side window has some residual water on it.

The dealer did replaced the sunroof/moon roof under factory warranty about a month ago, I did a water test run and its look like the water is draining perfectly on the both side. I also did check the vapor barrier, and it is perfectly sealed. So, my question is if I take the SAV to a dealer to check out what is going on, should this be free with Parts/service since the SAV still has factory warranty.

Thank you all for your help and suggestions.

As long as you are under 4 years and 50,000 miles, you will be covered.

It looks like two of the major culprits for water leaks have been checked. The next thing to check will be the drains in the cabin filter housing area. This is just below the windshield wipers/cowl area under the hood.
