Production finally complete!

My 2014 328i completed production yesterday and is now awaiting transport to the port. So excited -- of course, I know it is going to be at least another six weeks or so before I see the car... I'm getting more anxious each day LOL!

Alpine white, black Leatherette, dark burl walnut trim, Technology package, heated seats, Harmon Kardon Stereo.

Yeah, I did NOT get Xenon's but did not feel I needed them in Los Angeles.

All I can say is this sure will be a different (more fun) experience than driving the Toyota Prius to work every day.

Congrats! You must be one of the first people to be getting their 2014 F30.

Just out of curiosity, did you happen to use a bimmerfest sponsor dealer near you?

Was going to use a sponsored dealer, but ended up finding a great offer at a dealer much closer to my home so I ordered there instead. Just was more convenient. I know, I know -- I should have used the sponsor but this was just too good of a deal.

grats, my car just exited production also and the vin is now displaying information through the lookup tool.

the one and only thing i do not see appropriately reflected (or at least not called out in the manner i'd expect) is the staggered summer wheel/tire setup. vin tool displays:

S2PEA 18"M LM RAEDER STERNSP.400 M/MB BMW LA wheel, M star spoke 400

not sure if there's an identifier in there that indicates staggered/perf setup. it's on the order sheet (option 840 under ZMM, increased limiter is shown) so i'm not worried so much, and i'm sure the dealer would make it right if they aren't on there.

S840A HOCHGESCHWINDIGKEITSABSTIMMUNG High speed synchronisation

^- does this indicate alteration of speed limiter?

through MyBMW I don't see any options under "your 328i selected options". But that Russian decoder site appears to show all my options.

Were you looking at the Russian site or myBMW?

i'm using the russian site as well, mybmw doesn't even say production is complete yet . i'm just going to assume because there's an option with 840 in it, seemingly pertaining to the speed limiter, the performance tires will be there.

Hang in there; I went through the same process with my F30 320i, ordered mid-March, received in Seattle mid-May. It was interesting to track its shipping progress from Germany through the Panama Canal, to Hueneme, to Seattle. I hope your cars make as fast a trip!

The 7/16 ship is now in port in Bremerhaven

The 800 number says my vehicle is still in transport to port of exit.

Checked the tracking feature from the shipping company with my vin and got no hits yet but that's ok I think because I see no 328's entered for the ship yet if I do a partial vin using the first several digits.

My ca looked up the order this past Friday and said it wasn't assigned to a ship yet as of then. He was going to check again today but I didn't get an email from him so I will email him tomorrow.

Really hoping both of us get on this ship so we get our cars sooner rather than later!

Mine said "at port awaiting a vessel" for a few days, while in reality it was already on the Turandot for a few days.

It's either on the ship that left around the time your vehicle arrived at Bremerhaven, or the one after that. Like you have done, just punch your VIN into the W&W website every day and it should populate within the next few days.

My car (2014 335i) is at the port waiting on the same ship. I hope we get on there because the next ship is not for two more weeks!

And the Morning Concert has departed Bremerhaven on its way to California. A search of the W&W website for "wba3c1c" only matches 16 cars on that ship, so I guess they haven't entered all of the vehicles into the computer system yet. That, or it doesn't have many BMW's on it. My VIN doesn't appear at any rate.

The BMW 800 number still says "vehicle is at port awaiting a shipping vessel. There is no shipping information available at this time." According to a live person on the phone, my car arrived at the port yesterday (so I'm not sure if that would give them enough time to get it onto today's ship). If it didn't get on today, it will sit at Bremerhaven for the next two weeks I guess.

My CA has been unresponsive to email for the past two days so I don't have an update from him. Not sure if he has been out of the office, or busy, or just has no new update.

Guess I'll have to keep looking online. Did anyone get confirmation that their 2014 328i is out on a ship today?

Robert

i also expected to be on the morning concert, but my vin is similarly not displaying. this snippet below makes me feel a little better at least:

"If “no records are available” is displayed, Wallenius Wilhelmsen does not yet have your car in their possession, your car is not being
transported by their fleet, or the tracking system is lagging behind actual status – which is quite common.

NOTE: My car never was displayed on this tracking site although Wallenius Wilhelmsen is listed as the logistics carrier, and agent for my ship, operated by ARC."

And now I am going through it. My car arrived at the port on 7/15, but unable to get any further information about it. Next vessel due to stop in NY isn't for another week.

I now see lots of BMW's on the Morning Concert going to California. Unfortunately, none of them are my VIN number.

I'm hoping they just haven't entered my VIN yet but beginning to think I might be waiting for the next ship.

I did a wild card search eliminating the last six of my VIN and I see a 335i on that ship with a VIN within 100 in sequence from mine and the data was posted today (7/17)... so I don't know what to think. I'll give it another day to update then call my CA. As I recall from last time, it took about a day for the BMW tracking system to show the ship name.

I am getting concerned we may be waiting two weeks for the next ship.
