Hmmm, CPO is worth about 4k (note that CPO does have a 50 deduc and DOES NOT cover any suspension parts), sometimes, you're better off going with an aftermarket warranty. But anyway....

What's the asking prices for similarly equipped cars in the area and is there anything unique about this car's options that other cars in your market doesn't have? Are there many cars available like this in your area and what's the "blue book" value?

Much better information going through bmwusa website.

Plenty of options in this example.

I would take it at like 57k with a different set of wheels.

Good luck on it.

$54k plus tax and fees. The car is over 3 years old. Not an M Sport package. In a year, you'll be able to get it for $48k-$50k. Your CPO is good 4 years till the In DOS which is 2015, so you have about 2 years, since you won't hit 100k miles. They are asking WAYYY TOOOO much.

Looks like a highly optioned car, and great color combo. No m sport, which is a deal breaker for me. Price seems on the high end. Good luck and let us know what you end up getting.

Like MCChuck said get rid of those ugly wheels yuck...

I genuinely want to meet the guy (bean counter?) who would allow those wheels on BMW's "flagship" car? They look like they're off a base 320i sedan What is more amazing is that is a pretty loaded 750Li, not a base 750 with no options.

Average mileage, well equipped, high price. I agree with ndavani/iceman - the price is way up there. If you're comfortable with the price, see if you can get in the mid-high 50s. But have them swap the wheels and/or include extended maintenance(or is that included in CPOs? I don't think it does??).

I like the look of the non-M Sport, it has a very aristocratic and authoritative look to it.

Good Luck
Chris

I agree with the $54k number if you are in love with it, aside from that I would not pay anything close for that car.

Thanks all for your inputs. This is exactly what I needed. I was thinking of offering abt $57k as I need only a white car with a non-black interior and only form a BMW authorized dealer and not from a used car dealership. So that narrows down my choices. Lets see what the dealer says abt my offer. I will keep looking.

Thanks again

Can you pls tell me if the car in the below link is priced too low. This is from a individual seller. The price looks too good to be true.

yeah, that's about 20k too low... might be salvaged or something like that. Look it up on Carfax or Autocheck or give the seller a call and ask him if it's had any paintwork, etc.

Thanks aom7. I am gonna skip this car.

I am looking at the below car now. It is from a used car dealer. So far I have not purchased a car from a used car dealer. I always went to a authorized dealer. But this car has everything i need. Can you give me some pointers on what I should look for when I buy a car from a used car dealer. I am not very trusting of them.

If it's still under warranty, then I wouldn't worry about where you're getting it from. I'd recommend a PPI (take it to a BMW dealership or good indy to have them inspect for mechanical issues, repaints, frame damage, etc). And buy a Carfax/Autocheck subscription so you can independently review it--it's not always 100% correct, but it's a good start.

Thanks again for the pointers. The carfax report in the below link looks good for this car.
I have used carchex.com for my PPI once before when I bought my Z4 online without even seeing it and it worked out well for me. What are your thought on using carchex as i will not be able to take it to a BMW dealer.

Personally, I would never buy a car w/o seeing it first. Never used carchex before, but I figure, if I'm making a 60k purchase, I can spend 600 bucks to fly out to see it first. just my .02.

Make sense. I will most probably go and take a look and also get carchex PPI done. How does the pricing look to you. I am thinking of offering 56k for this car if it checks out well.

Thanks again
