LCI 0-100 times?

I wonder what BMW have changed with the F10 xDrive system in their LCI models - the 0-100 kmph acceleration figures as listed in the configurator (at least here in the EU) slightly better than for pre-LCI, otherwise identical models.

For instance: the 528ix used to be specced at 6.5, while the LCI is supposed to reach 100 kmph in just 6.3 seconds.

Would the F/R torque distribution be different now?

Could it be because of Launch Control since I know the LCI comes with it if you have the SAT?

How the launch control operates on the non-M F10 is the next question I was going to ask, Alan

Isn't it limited to the 550(x)i though?

Launch control is included with the Sport Automatic Transmission option.

It's for sure due to launch control. Those drops in time would be done via using launch control.

Isn't launch control supposed to be bad for transmissions and perhaps put extra pressure on related components? Or is that not the case anymore?
