Leaky sunroof

Does anyone know where these drains are located on a 2006 x5?

Re: Leaky sunroof

I had similar problem couple of weeks ago. It turns out the hose from the roof was blocked at the bottom drain. You can locate the hose after removing the side panels behind the wind shield and blow through it to check if there is no blockage in the system.

Good luck

Re: Leaky sunroof

No need to remove the head liner in my case just the side panels. I believe the leakage is found around the left foot rest correct? If the bottom drain is blocked the return water finds it way back to through the left leg rest.

Re: Leaky sunroof

I think you have a peculiar problem from mine. The rubber seal around the sunroof has probably peeled or warped off. So sorry i can't help with that.

I hope someone else can contribute.
