Mein Auto: 2006 BMW 325I E90
Break issue

Hello i have a 2006 bmw 325i E90 3.0l L6 . I have my break light on and im noticing a rare behavior when i hit the break in my vehicle ; the problem is that i hit the break and the car kind of jerks is that normal? If is no normal what may be the issue? Thank you.

Like as you slow down almost to a stop? Could it be the transmission downshifting? (assuming an auto) Perhaps look up a transmission reset... it did wonders to smooth up both my up and down shifts in lower gears.

It's NIC, Neutral Idle Control that is doing this. It disengages the drivetrain while coming to a stop to save gas. Cool idea, horrible implementation.
