Question Am I the only one with bose sound in their BMW?

So I recently bought a 2007 BMW 335i e92 and I've realized that on my front 2 speakers that are close to the mirrors, it has the bose logo. I've researched a bit and nobody seems to have this! All I see is that everyone has Harmon kardon. I still have logic 7 options even though it's bose! Can someone explain?

A prior owner swapped out the original speakers? Might be interesting to look at the others to see what they are.

Bose has no contract with BMW for their audio systems, so it's either a kludge or someone is just mind f**king with you and glued a couple Bose labels to your HK speakers.

I believe Bose badges are included in the M Performance Rebadging Kit.

Here are pictures of what it says on my speakers. If any of you know how I can check what kind of speakers they actually are without taking my whole car apart please let me know!

A few of my friends have cars that have bose systems in them and they are pretty bassy, my dad has a 2007 328xi with harmon kardon speakers and his sound system doesn't have as much bass as the bose. My speakers also seem to have more bass like the bose systems do, but it also has the crispiness of harmon kardon, so I am very confused!

Looks like someone just glued those on the surface, they wouldn't wrap around like that.

Those do look like they were made to fit the grill shape perfectly - weird!

No highs. No lows. Just Bose!

I don't think this is the HK system.

What do you think it is? It certainly isn't a Bose system. The speakers behind the grill appear to me to be Logic7/HK speakers.

Do any of you know how i can check for sure? And also if you have the Harmon Kardon logic 7, can you tell me how the balance between the bass and treble is (if the equalizers are at default). I've noticed that it doesn't matter where I sit in the car (front or back), the sound is the same in all places.

one way to fully confirm what equipment your car came with from factory ...

http://www.rubmw.ru/vincode/eng/

put your VIN into here and read your specs!

Thanks for the link, this is what I found about my car. All that I see about the stereio is that it is has 315MHz radio. If you understand more about this please let me know!

315MHz refers to the frequency of the keyfob/remote for the car. Nothing at all to do with the sound system.

Your car has s677A Hifi system professional DSP, which should be the HK/Logic 7 system.

Hope this helps.
