What do you tell people you drive? I'm actually not a fan at all of the name "ActiveHybrid 3." But I think non-car people would be just as clueless about "335iH" so I think I will just say "3 series hybrid" or possibly just "3 series"

Yeah, really depends on the who is asking. I usually say it's a "hybrid 3 series" and if they ask for more details I'll tell them that's a 335 but with an electric motor on top.

I am doing the same.
Then you have to explain that BMW's view of a hybrid is not the same as Toyota's.

Haha yeah, it's not just more fuel efficient, it's just as fast or faster than the 335
