Belt tensioner torx screw loosened itself ?

Not really wanting a solution, just wondering if this has happened to anyone else.

Basically I've been hearing some weird rattling sound from the engine bay at lower rpm's. So I thought I would check the belt tensioner torx screw. Set my wrench to 25 nm and yep the bolt is spinning easily. I can't even get it to 25 nm yet alone the extra 90 degrees. So I'm going to replace the tensioner, the screw obviously, the belt and the idler pulley.

Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else and how it has managed to loosen itself. Also would there be any thread damage or is it just the screw that's damaged ? Will the new screw be able to go to 25 nm ?

I think that screw is aluminum. There are posts from members who have had random issues with other aluminum bolts. I bet it is starting to stretch out or break. Start by removing it to inspect the threads.

The screw is alluminium and it holds the tensioner. So belt and tensioner has to be removed to inspect the screw. Hence why I'm just going to replace everyrhing.
