Water stain on Rocker's

Has anyone else noticed that BMW has a problem with how they channel the water off of their cars, their is always 2 to 3 different stains on the lower rocker panels of my current 1-series and my neighbors 1 and 3 series. I also notice this on other BMW's while out driving.
If the BMW engineers are so smart why are they dumping water on the paint,(Lower Rocker Panel) I've never noticed these stains on any other car from any other manufacture.
Why don't they channel the water behind the rocker panel?? Will this happen on the Z4 ?

That's not what i'm saying!! I have excessive wax on that car, (Wolfgang Fusion) water comes out of drain holes under the doors and cascades over the rockers. Its a dumb design is what my point is. Will my new Z do the same?

Not if you plug up the drain holes. Your rockers will look fantastic!

Re: Water stain on Rocker's

My Z4 suffers the same malady as does my Audi A6. Really shows on a white car.
