Instrument Display Cluster

Anyone ever experience the intensity of the information in the display being virtually unreadable when the outside temperature is high ?? Mid-afternoon yesterday was 104 F in Dulles, Virginia. The display was not legible for the first 10 - 15 minutes, but did regain normal intensity once the air conditioner cooled down the cabin.

There's been a couple of posts about weird things happening in the heat. I once saw a BMW promo video showing how they bring their cars out to Death Valley to run them in extreme heat. Seems like they ought to handle 104 OK.

The same happens in the opposite direction when temperatures drop to really cold. It is not an issue as most lcd screens will suffer the same reactions to extremes of temperature.....
