2007 328I hard start

Ok guys, I'm new here cause I've never owned a BMW but a friend has one, asked if I could
R&R his eccentric shaft sensor and plugs, no sweat I said as I am a mechanic, Accomplished the task in 5.5 hrs with no complications and no left over parts. Installed the servo motor per instructions, slid it in, allen wrench in the back, slowly corkscrewed it in, tightened her up. put the ignition fob in, foot off the brake, tapped the start button and heard the servo reset its limits. waited a few seconds and she started right up, now it has developed a hard start issue, engine cranks about 3 to 5 seconds before starting. Owner states this is new. No other problems at all, runs like a champ. All the coils tested within normal limits, no dash lights and no OBD codes. I did not remove the air box during service, there are no vacuum leaks, all grounds are properly attached and torqued. I am stumped, I"m obviously overlooking something but I'll be darned if I can figure it out.

Cool Fixed

Because I'm an adult and can admit when I screw up,
Went back over everything I did and viola, that sensor at the front of the head that inserts upside down, don't know what it does but, apparently the bolt must be more than hand tight. It was loose, torqued it properly and problem solved.
