Well, if you want to make it handle, not much unique about it - much has been done re: M suspension parts, LSD; coilovers.

Engine can be amped up; will consume your entire budget for substantial gains.

Cosmetic stuff is best attacked through a custom shop!

Thanks for the reply!

Then what is a realistic budget that it will take? Lets say, I want to start from the Inside and work my way out.

Thankss!!

What customizations are you looking for here? Suspension? Engine (you won't get much AT ALL, no matter your budget) - for engine I would stick to just getting it maintained, fluids/water pump/clutch, etc. If you're looking cosmetic, what type of cosmetic.

You've asked an extremely broad question that may not get many responses as you've not narrowed down your definition of "mod".

Thanks for the response.

Im trying to boost engine performance (horsepower, torque). Better ride. then, ill worry about cosmetics later.

I hope that makes it better.

If this is the case, skip engine performance, there isn't much out there that will make any significant difference in power. For the engine, get it maintained, check the wear points, transmission, clutch, cooling system, steering system.

For suspension, you've got more than enough to replace every bushing, strut, shock and spring to suit your needs based on the road surfaces you'll be traversing.

I'd look into TC Kline and his SA/DA systems as well as KW variant and clubsport systems as a complete kits.

Do an engine swap. Put an LS2 or LS3 engine in there. That'll give you an increase in torque/HP. Or trade the car in and put that 15K down on a car with performance you want.

Save your money, drive it and enjoy it, once you Amped it up you will need more cash for paying off speeding tickets and traffic violations

been there and paid for it! and you will NEVER get your money back out of it

I agree on the waste of $, why not just drive this one for a bit, then trade it in with a decent down payment on a 2008-09 M3 (they go for around 33-35 grand with 50'ish thousand miles). Then put some money into the M3, you'll be much happier and better off.

Roundel has several in the rear sale section. The vehicle is worth a look.
