Nice 4 series review from Auto Blog

BMW 4 series autoblog driving review

I certainly am eager to see and drive one of these....

Quote:
Where the 4 Series really separates itself from its 3 Series roots is on the road. It's not perfect by any means, and we'll never quite get back to the truly amazing dynamics that the E36 and E46 cars possessed, but the lower, wider, stiffer coupe takes all of the good things about the 335i sedan and just makes them better.

added cost of the 4 Series is warranted considering that it really is more than simply a two-door version of the 3 Series. It might seem silly to break out the new coupe into its own numerical designation within the BMW range, but this truly is a case where it's not just about differentiating bodystyles. It's about putting the better-driving cars one notch higher on the totem pole.

(snip)
There's room for two short folks in the back, and we aren't kidding around legroom may have increased slightly because of the longer wheelbase, but headroom in back is down by almost a full inch, which hurts ingress and egress, too.
(snip)

The current 3-series coupe's back seat is useless, and this just got tighter. If I'm going to get a two seater, I prefer the 1 series. But I guess that's the point of the 4-series and 6-series. It shows that you can blow this kind of money on a car that is *less* useful than the sedans. Personally, I prefer the X1 and 3-series touring, but then I've always been a practical kind of guy.

Nice review and all, but I'm getting kinda sick of seeing this silver with red leather coupe everywhere.

Agree 100%. They keep saying the M-Sport is so much better looking in person then they let the media drive a Sport edition. Silly they wouldn't put the best one out there for the public to see.

seeing that E92 in your sig, vs the F32 in the article makes me just think how terrible the F32 looks.

they went a little too fastback audi a7 like on the rear C pillar, and the side vent. the side profile of your car is gorgeous. and the unique taillights i think are timeless. i remember being so surprised when the e92 came out how much better it looked than the e90. this time around not so much

F32 needs M Sport package to look the best.
