Interior lighting - led

Just wondering has anybody change out their Interior lighting to LED , especially the footwell areas on a 2014 X-1. If so, what and where did you purchase your lighting units from.

You ask; why change out your stock interior lights to LED....because they make a lot of difference in lighting and it matches the door handle courtesy lights.

ID:	388305. Great light package from the BMW Dealer. Lights are bright white and are much cooler in temperature. They match your outside lights great.

Great looking lights. Where did you get the bulbs from, and did that included the foot wells (driver and passenger side) . I am having some problems getting them, due to different connections.

The BMW led upgrade kit comes with two types of bulb set-ups and if you put wrong bulb in foot well it will work sometimes and sometimes it does not make a good connection and does not work , this is the wrong bulb for the foot well, you need to use the other type in the kit and it will make a good connection.

I got my LED kit (10 bulbs) from the BMW dealer directly. There is also a 4 bulb kit.

Unfortunately, there is no BMW LED replacement for floor well lighting.

These modules are already LEDs but with a yellowish hue vs. the bright white of the new LEDs in the kit for the other lights.

I guess I'll have to look around for a third party part.

Look at v-leds.com. Best deals are if sign up for their news letter and combine their sales with the coupons (especially around US Holidays)

I am looking to do this, but am confused. I do not have foot well lighting or inside the door lighting. I do have LEDs in the door handles also called puddle lights and the license plate bulbs are LEDs. So it looks like I only need to replace the front map lights and courtesy light and the glove box trunk and rear passenger lights above the rear doors. So with this said, where can I find the lights I need, and price?

I'd imagine the previous answers still apply, and for less than if you had to buy 2x as many bulbs

I just bought a kit from Precision LED and have to give them great praise for customer service and a great product. In my X1 there are 5 bulbs that are the same in the cabin. The trunk light in my car is the same type as what is inside the cabin, not a "festoon" type bulb. I sill have to do the glove box so will keep them updated.
