E30 (1982 - 1993)
God's Chariot. The E30 was produced primarily from 1982 through 1991. The cabriolet was the one exception which was produced through 1993.

Valence from 91 very onto 88 vert?

Been searching and not sure if this is a direct swap. Is it? Yes or no?
I found a thread but it seems like there is a lot of modification necessary, but again I'm not sure.

Facelift as it applies here meant replacing the large metal "diving board" bumpers with smaller plastic ones -- top and bottom were painted to match the rest of the car's color and flat black plastic trim for the front and sides. The tail lights were also made somewhat larger as well.

Coupes and sedans had the facelift from model year 89 to the end of the production run. Convertibles didn't get the facelift until October 1990.

IIRC, front valence is the same, bumpers are different (easy bumper swap though).

Rear valence requires cutting and welding. YMMV.

That is a facelift valance that you want to put on. But your car is a prefacelift. in 88 most E30s changed to facelift type, but convertables were a little bit later
