Children Car Seats 2014 X3

As I contemplate this vehicle, the only concern I have is the adequate room in back. I have twin 8 year old girls and a 6-month old. The deuce are out of boosters so just leaves the infant.

Is there adequate room for both on each side with a forwad facing seat in 6 months? My wife has a Rogue and it works with the rear facing seat, although a bit tight, and think the X3 is a bit bigger and shouldn't be an issue.

Thoughts/opinions/experiences?

I place my 7 month in a baby car seat in the middle seat and my wife sits in the back passenger side with him and she says there's plenty of room so I think all three of your kids should be fine. Click image for larger version

We have 3 grandchildren that ride in the back of ours. Ages 9, 6 and 2 1/2. All fit with no problems.

We have a Chicco KeyFit30, which is massive, but fits in the middle back seat with plenty of room for other passengers on either side. It also fits behind the passenger seat but requires that seat to be moved forward so that only a smaller person could occupy it if the car seat were installed behind it.

No problem. Seat for 2 y/o is in the middle. Booster on side works fine. My daughter-in-law got an extender for the seat buckle for the side with the booster as it is difficult for the 6 y/o to buckle as the room between the booster and the child seat is a bit tight.

Where does one buy a seatbelt extender? that is exactly what I need now in my x5 and know I will need it when X3 arrives next month.
