BMW 316i tick over issues, please help!

Hi guys first of all I'd like to say hello as I'm new to this forum and hope you guys can help me out!

So about 3 weeks ago my car started to lose revs on tick over and would jolt every now and again when driving regardless of what gear I was in. I changed the spark plugs and all seemed well for a couple days then the loss of revs came back but the jolting seems to be sorted. Once it's been driven abit and warmed up its fine its just after its been left for a while ill start her up and if I don't put my foot down abit to keep the revs up she'll cut out on me.. I've looked at all the air pipes and none are cracked letting more air in and don't have a clue what it could be. Any ideas would be appreciated thanks in advance!!
