Mein Auto: 2013 BMW 328i Coupe
New to forum - need pricing advice

New to forum, but not new to BMWs. I owned a e28 (1987) M5, that I sold in 2010. Planning to buy lightly used 328i Coupe with manual transmission. I found a 2011 328i Couple, 6spd, 18,000 miles, with Sport pckg and Value pckg. It is a CPO vehicle. It is RWD. The car also has heated seats, that is a nice feature in the long Northeast winters. My local BMW is asking $31,900. Is that a good price?

This is going to be my daily driver, as I am giving my daily driver, Lexus IS300, to my son that is heading to graduate school in Denver.

I am not familiar with the 3 series packages/options. Any advice is appreciated. Is there a website where I could get a list of features available in the car using the VIN#?

Regards,
Guido in NJ

Seems like as good deals to me, provided no horrible car history. I would be more nervous paying too little for a BMW than slightly over paying. But that's all in my personal will to be able to sleep at night.

Here is more details about the 2011 328 vehicle information: Coupe, 6spd manual, 18,000 miles, Sport pkg, Value pkg, heated front seats (a plus in NJ) and steering wheel, CPO warranty, RWD, moonroof, M sport suspension, Dakota Leather interior. MSRP: $40,765. The dealer offered that car at $31,900 price and is not going down anymore.

Should I pull the trigger or wait for a better offer? The other car I am looking at is a 2011 Lexus IS250 6spd manual with 11K miles.

There does not seems to be a lot of 328 coupe with manual transmission in the Northeast. I see a lot more in the west coast. There are plenty of automatics within driving distance from NJ.

Thank you in advance for helping my select my next ride.
