Question '05 325 XI manual transmition clunk?

My '05 325XI with a manual transmition has has "clunk" when pressing on or letting off the accelerator when the car is in gear. There is no problem actually shifting. I have had the differential mounts checked and transmition bushings replaced to no avail. Anyone have any thoughts?

In all likelihood, what you`re experiencing is known as "driveline snatch", and is a normal occurance. This is more exaggerated in AWDs due to the extra components in the drivetrain.

i have been studying this problem as mine was pretty bad and its a lot better since i replaced all the fluids but its still there. i found a couple videos on you tube that point to possible bad differential and subframe bushings. both clunk when they go bad

i think it got better with a fluid change because the car got easier to shift, not that it was the actual solve.
