Yeah, get some pic's, I can't see how 20mm would fit. I kicked around the idea of going 15, but think the tire tread would be showing too much from the rear view. Maybe I'm wrong.

I just picked up a 2011 750Li today and am looking at doing H&R springs. Will it make the ride harsh or bouncy? I just traded my E60 that had KW v2 coilovers. I loved the way it looked and handled when I wanted to drive aggressively, but any ride comfort was zapped out for sure. I enjoy the ride quality of the f02 so far, so i would rather not deviate too far from it. I'm ok with a very minor reduction in quality to see the gap reduced, but am curious about the perception of others that have made this change

Thanks!

when you say you can tell the difference, do you mean that the ride quality is reduced, or that it just handles better?

I really have not noticed much of a difference other than being a slightly stiffer ride and markedly improved looks.

Thanks everyone for the feedback!

I requested a quote from my local performance shop for the springs and install, so I will be pulling the trigger very soon. I also ordered my wheels today, and tint is scheduled for monday. I am going to wait until my wheels are on and its lowered to see if I want spacers.

Now that I have my stock wheels back on for winter, I am seriously considering spacers to improve the look while running my winter setup.

Is 10mm front and 12mm rear still the common config for most?

Richard, did you ever go to 15mm spacer in the rear?

Anyone running 12mm in the front?

I am considering the 12mm front / 15mm rear config

feedback appreciated

Yeah take a look at my other posts and I have it on here. No rubbing and I have it lowered. I initially had it lowered too much in the back so it looked like I had bodies in the trunk lol "Tony Soprano special" but I got it fixed yesterday and she is beautiful. I can post new pics if you like. Let me know.

Can we adjust the hight of the rear on the H&R kit? My shop said no, but I would be happy if they are wrong because I would prefer to be up a tad bit in the rear. Mine has the air with the replacement linkage that came in the kit.

The rods for the rear are adjustable. Instructions call for 65mm. When mine was installed, the right side sat about a half inch higher, so I adjusted it and now it sits level.

That's weird. I don't think mine was adjustable. Also looks like your instructions are for the x5 and x6.
Mine is rwd, are you xdrive?

My car is xdrive with rear air suspension. The rods are the same for the x5 and x6. After seeing what they are, it would be easy to go to a hardware store and make them up yourself for about a dollar. I have an extra if you want to try to make them.
