04 X5 3.0 Diesel, rough idle mostly when in D

Hi,
I have just bought a 04 X5 3.0 Diesel with 135000ks 1 owner full service history.
At idle it runs rough when in D. It out of drive its smoothish. I unplugged each diesel injector one by one. The fifth did not make any difference in the way the engine ran where as all others made it run very rough. Could it be a faulty injector or a crank vent or something else?
Any suggestions?

Do you ever get white smoke? Crankcase Vent Valve made mine run rough and it was more pronounced when I put it in gear and strained the motor.

Update X5 3.0 D

Well I have now sorted this matter, it was a faulty injector.
Swapped over with a new one at $500.
Beautiful diesel smooth running stacks of power.
