I just got mine in yesterday. Will install it over the weekend and post results next week. I wouldn't let the fact that you have an aftermarket warranty scare you away from this mod. The modded unit is the same as the stock and no one would ever know if you did the work and didn't tell them. When I was changing out the VANOS seals I saw where the thermostat is and after getting the covers out of the way it is easily accesible.

Re: BMW 90C Thermostat For N62, N63, N73 Engines

And let me be the first to point out how bs it is that we have to pay twice as much for a lower quality part just to get a cooler running tstat. And if thats not bad enough I had already purchased an oem tstat cause I couldnt find this one so i ended up paying 190 altogether.

Anyone who knows me... Knows how passionate I am about my rides.
The F0 with turbos bolted on top of the already hot running N54 engine is like 2 fat people fkcun in a sauna!
I will gladly be the first F0 owner to try out this Hybrid Tstat. I can already hear my Turbos thanking me.

Re: BMW 90C Thermostat For N62, N63, N73 Engines

I went from stock 210 degree F tstat
to a 160 degree F in my turbo camaro which was putting over 600 hp to the wheels and YOU will love it more then the car will. Custom tuning for the cooler temps made a big difference too. Fan temps and air fuel ratios using a wideband O2. I had the luxery of a laptop tuning software though.
