Please Help w/ Tires & Rims....

I'm a damsel in distress and just need help quick...I would appreciate anything.

In a nutshell: Tires are worn---as in danger to drive (so I'm told), heading on a roadtrip...

2009 328i xDrive, Coupe, Sport....

Reputable tire brands, reputable rim brands? I want to go from 17s to 19s....but just need something that will ship or be in stock quick. I'm researching in limited bandwidth, and 3G. I would appreciate any help.

Nothing chrome...machined, sleek, yet low key.

Currently have Continental tires. I hope you guys could help. Please, and thank you.

Unfortunately you've left the door wide open. Especially in this community!

I think if you need help from fellow members, could you please give us an idea of how much you'd like to spend. I think you & I have similar tastes but some of the rims I've seen are almost $1k each for just A rim (tires not included).

Then when you bump up to 19" you add at least another 20% to the cost for both items (rims & tires) if not more. This is one of the reasons I haven't gone to 19's myself.

But you probably know of tirerack, discount tire, & other popular sites.

Give us a little more info to help you.

I'd go to tirerack.com continental's are good tires, Continental Extreme Contact have a really good rating, if you pop in your vehicle, year, make and model they will give you a whole list of tires 17" oem and then you can click on a different tire size like 18", 19", etc... I've been looking at 19" M5 wheels on ebay, I don't think they're true M5 wheels, also M3 wheels.

Please Help w/ Tires & Rims....

Try www.bavauto.com. They are a forum sponsor.

Like moejav said, Continental Extreme Contact are great tires. Go with DWS if you have plan to drive in snow.

Avant Garde and Beyern make some good looking rims that won't break the bank (around $300 a rim).

You can also try http://www.carid.com/custom-wheels.html for ideas.

Good luck!

Not sure if this site is legit?

http://www.allfactorywheels.com/brands/BMW.html

Anybody know? Because the prices don't make sense. $215 for 189's?

I took a peek at this because that didn't sound right to me either. If you look at their homepage they state that they sell new and refinished wheels. I'll bet most of them are refinished looking at their pricing.

Thanks...even though I have been wishing for the 19"s, in my "emergency", I thought it better to go with a size I know will look great, not be a pain to install (or any sort of difficulty), and that a lot of online stores have in stock to ship right away.
