2009 E90N No Horn - please help!

Randomly went to use the horn and it made no noise!
I haven't fiddled with anything or the electrics at all prior!

Everything works less the horn. I can confirm that when pressing the steering wheel horn area - I get a relay click from the fuses area behind the glovebox... I have needless to say - Checked ALL fuses. Both the 30a and 5a as numbered on the fuse guide.

I haven't got as far as testing the 12v at the horns (there are 2 - one low and one high pitch) as theyre a night mare to get to with big hands!!

Please help - I am assuming the relay behind glove box/fuses is OK as it clicks in and out....hmmmmmm!!

Many thanks

Help?

Do you have power at the fuse?

NO: Your issue is upstream
YES: Check power at the horn

Do you have power at the horn?

NO: Your issue is between the fuse box and the horn
YES: Your issue is with the horn

You can pull the relay out of its socket and use a jumper wire to send power directly to the horn. That will tell you if you have a bad relay.

As Cal says, if it's not the relay, it's the horn or the wires.
