How is this deal for a CPO 2011 335i?

Hey,

I'm considering purchasing a CPO 2011 335i with 15k miles - msport pkg, nav, premium pkg, cold weather pkg, convience pkg and harmon kardon sound. Its listed at 40k. Whats a fair offer for this car? Am I better off just spending more and getting a new f30?

Thanks

That is a very fair offer for that pkg and mileage. But the last question goes to your heart, which one you would prefer btw E90 & F30?

I'd rather have 85K warranty with CPO and a faster, loaded, more badass car for less money, than a new F30 with 50K warranty and a Corolla like ride. By far. You want the super low mileage loaded 335i CPO.

I've wanted an E90 since I first saw one. Still speaks to me... I'm just hoping I don't feel like the style is too dated in a few years.

Which style do you love E of F? I bought a 13 E92 coupe last week because I do not like the front end look of the new F. Looks are subjective. Get what you like. I would say BMWs are more of a classic look. They look better as they age. You want a modern look go for Lexus or Hyundai.

I think that is a good starting place, at least here in the southeast. When I was looking for a low mileage 2011 335i this spring, most well accessorized 335i were in the 37-38 range for a cpo. I was looking at cars with under 18k miles. I'm not sure how much the msport and harmon kardon would add to base since it is now used. When I was looking, I allowed about 2500 for the cpo as a comparison against non-cpos. I hope this helps.

New to this forum. I just purchased my 2011 335i last Thursday! Glad to be apart of the BMW family now! Mine has Nav, Premium, and M Sport, Convenience Package, Comfort Access, and Harmon Kardon. It has 51k on it, and extended CPO to 100k, and extended maintenance to 100k. After taxes and everything I bought the car for 25,900! Im beginning to think I got a super deal!

Congratulations. I am also a new owner. You are going to love the car.

I guess I will jump in.....traded in my 07 335i last week for a 2011 335i Sport/Convenience/Cold Weather/xdrive/Nav premium sound with 6spd MT, 45k CPO for $30k. Its what I wanted but couldn't find when I bought my 07, which replaced an 01 330i sport 5spd...I am loving it. The only thing I am dealing with now is that it was a 4/10 production, so no combox so I need to get a Y cable to fully integrate the ipod, but the bluetooth and the USB device feature are nice...

WOW!! Its really funny that you just posted about the Com Box and production date! My girlfriend has a 2011 328i and her car has the ability to stream audio via bluetooth, while my 2011 335i wont let me do that! I talked to the dealer and thought it was an iDrive update that I needed and he said the exact same thing about the production date, like you said above! I had to order the Y cable for the ipod at 65 dollars!!!!! However he said that I would not be able to stream audio via bluetooth because my radio was before that date!

I am not too concerned with streaming via bluetooth if the Y cable will fully integrate my phone. TBH I have used the bluetooth streaming in a couple loaners, and felt that the quality was not that great, but for me I want the ability to control the pod via the idrive...

Sounds like a fair deal. Paid about $36k for mine with 9500 miles, but without convenience and cold weather. I have CPO, performance edition upgrade (the factory tune), sport, premium, nav and standard hifi stereo.

The Y cable enables all iPod functions from the radio. The dealer gave me a new Y cable when I pick up the car.

It still turns my head! I wouldn't worry about that.

Let's not scare the crap out of potential F30 buyers...they can do their own homework. Some in there (forum) are getting downright defensive right now.

My sales associate tossed it over gratis while car was getting inspection this evening. Worked great! No podcast menu option though but can find it via artist.

I purchased my 2011 335i three weeks ago. I was dead set on F32 435i until I drove F30 328 and 335 loaners, auto and manual respectively. As already talked enough here, the F30 steering was beyond disappointing (in sport mode) and it was a deal breaker for me. I started looking for a low mile E92 CPO MSport 335i LCI with combox and found my 2011 335i which is pretty much fully loaded except actvie cruise control and cold weather package, but heated seats included, for $34K, 38000 Miles, pristine inside and out. And it also has PPK.
So I think there is a lot of room at $40K even though it has really low mileage.

Sport mode is supposed to provide "sporty steering response" according to the F30 owner's manual. In other words...what the E9X has now without having to press a button. Nevertheless, the response feels electronically boosted IMO.

As one of the "top three" auto mags said in a comparison test (E9X vs. F30) regarding the steering feel: "...the E9X feels more like the BMW we used to know...in contrast, the F30 feels like BMW set out to make a luxiry car."

To me F30 Sport mode was noticeably worse than E92, more so than what I had heard in the F30 forum. E92 is slightly worse than E46, but tolerable. F30 is not BMW that I know of.

Yeah I test drove a f30 and felt an Audi s4 was substantially better. I prefer an e90 though.
