2014 X1 Sunshade

Anyone know of an official part number or a good website to buy a 2014 X1 front windshield sunshade?

I tried one from amazon that said X1 2013 but it did not fit at all. either the product was wrong or there is a difference between the 2013 and 2014.

Try this - https://carbras.com/usv100-heatshield-cartlink.html
Their part # is UV11311SV - $49.97 with free shipping
When my X1 35i is delivered, I will be ordering one.

The Original BMW Accessories catalog for the X1 lists UV Sunshade as p/n 82 11 2 336 775. The catalog doesn't specifically state compatibility with either the 2013 and/or 2014 model year vehicles, but it lists a publication date of 9/12.

Is this the p/n you purchased from Amazon.com? This p/n does appear to be available from Amazon.com here.

I do want to thank mrnd23 for identifying the windshield sunshade from carbras. This one looks really nice and comes in blue metallic which should be a nice match for my LeMans Blue X1. Has anyone actually purchased a UVS100 Heat Shield from carbras, and if so, how is it working for you?r

gcrofton - it was me that identified the Heat Shield from carbras. I purchased a UVS100 Heat Shield 4 years ago for another car & have really liked it. I had silver before and am waiting to take delivery of my LeMans Blue X1 35i & think I will order a blue metallic UVS100 Heat Shield this time.

2014 X1 Sunshade

I purchased the BMW sun shade from Tischer a few weeks ago. It fits perfectly, only thing I did was paint out the black BMW script with some silver paint.

I bought the Heatshield sun shade via Amazon http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0099YQU84/, and I'm happy to say it fits perfectly...

I got a Heatshield for the wife's X1 for Christmas. It works great, and fits perfectly. The only issues are that the silver is VERY shiny. It blinds anyone that looks at the car from the front. That could be an issue for people who park near a window at work or in the driveway at home. This can be resolved by flipping it to the white (bottom) side.
The other concern is the size when rolled up. As we all know, space is at a premium in the X1. When rolled up, the Heatshield is almost 3 feet long and 5 inches in diameter. It does not fold flat like traditional cardboard sunshades.
But for doing the job it is designed to do, blocking the sun, the Heatshield is superb.
