OBD Port Access

Potentially dumb question - how do I get the cover off that's protecting the OBD port? I don't see any indents for a flat blade screwdriver to pop it off... Does it come off from the front or side? Any hints will be gratefully accepted!

The bottom left dash has the port with no cover, just flat.

At least on mine, which now has scanguage II in it permanently.

No cover on mine... The port faces downward though...
