Mein Auto: 2011 M3 vert, s4 avant,
Palladium Silver Extended leather or black?

I am choosing between two M3 Verts. One has the Palladium Silver Novillo and the other has black leather. It appears the Silver may dirty easily and that black will wear better. The silver is extended which is a nice touch and the black is not (not that it will matter much with black)

Otherwise the cars are identical - Jerez black and loaded.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks

Can't comment on keeping the leather clean on my E92 since mine is a garage queen, but on my E46, the silver grey leather has held up just fine with simple leather cleaner every so often. Black leather is great, but tends to show wear sooner in my past experience. After you've sat in it 2-4 times a day for a couple years, the stretches tend to be pretty visible.

I went with silver extended on the M3. You don't see it too often, and looks great with Jerez Black. I think it would look great on an E93 with the top down. Do be sure to take a closer look at the color of palladium silver in person with the top down in the sun... there is a tint of blue in the leather in certain light. I don't mind it, but if you're looking for a slate gray/silver, this isn't it. You can see that bluish cast in the last pic.

I'm a black interior kind of guy unless it's Saddle Brown (or some variation of that brown).

I think black interiors hold up better and look less worn over time. Are you keeping the car though? If you're leasing get the one you want.

Thanks. I am going with the Jerez and Palladium Silver extended. The dealership detailed the car and the leather cleaned up very nicely. When I first saw the car, it was dirty and I was not sure if they could get it to look as good as it now does.

I always thought it looked more blue than silver....I like it and it breaks up the interior nicely.

Congrats! Welcome to the Jerez/Palladium club! Be sure to post some pics... I haven't seen that combo on an E93 before.
