1st Problem

Well, our first little lover's spat. We've been happily married for three months and 2200 mi. but last night heard a rattle behind the driver's seat. Almost assuredly the automatic safety-belt assistant. Sort of random, maybe bumps, maybe 2nd gear.
I searched the forum (looking at you CALWATERBOY) and someone else had the same problem at a similar mileage, but no answers.
Any ideas before I spend time at Passport BMW?

I don't have the auto safety belt thing, but if the rear seat belts are buckled, some times the plastic and metal end of the belt will bang against the plastic square thing that sits in the seat behind it. If you push the seat belt recever down into the seat as far as it will go it helps, or leave the seat belts undone. N4S
