Smile Anyone Have Instructions for Physical Battery Install

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone have a video or instructions as to how to replace the physical battery lol it's really heavy , i know its in the trunk lol thats for sure , the programming tool i'll be ordering the bmtechnic Tool from the UK hopefully that wont take forever to reach canada.

Anyone Have Instructions for Physical Battery Install

If I remember correctly, you need to pull the spare tire to get the battery out. I had most of the trunk panels out when I did mine, but I think you can do it with only removing the tire. You have to remove the jack to access the terminals.

When i take out my battery will i lose all my settings on my car ? im just curious is there something i can do to preserve the settings ?

The only think that needs to be reset is the date and time. Everything else should stay intact.
