Transmission jerking when I come to a stop

Hello, I'm sure this has been talked about before. (Disclaimer)
I have a 2006 325i automatic. It's got 100000 miles on it. I just changed the transmission fluid and the oil pan/filter and had the engine updated to the latest software.
Problem is that a few weeks after doing this the tranny started jerking when it shifts down to first gear. Noticeable when i come to a stop at red lights. Almost unnoticeable when its cold and gets worse when the engine is hot.
I heard people mention that this could be the MAF sensor?
Or can this be caused by the new fluid?
Any ideas what this can be?

Mein Auto: 2008 BMW 328xi (E90)
My 2008 328xi has more or less always been like this - I'm at 23K miles I'm planning to go and see if there is a software update for the transmission or something. My roughness is mainly on the 3-2-1 downshift and it's most noticeable in sport mode. The initial engagement when pressing the throttle can sometimes be rough as well. I also notice that it seems to be more of an issue when the engine has warmed up.
Dealer tells me they can update it for $208 but it may or may not help. Another BMW-only indy told me they could try changing out the fluid, adding LubeGard, and resetting adaptations.
Feels to me like the GA6L-45R transmission is just a piece of crap.

I asked Mike Miller from the CCA Roundel and he said the fix was to get a manual gearbox...

Since my software is all up to date, and it seems like everyone has this problem i'm beginning to think you're right. :-( Go manual next I guess.

i dont know anything about your transmission. In other automatic transmissions a jerking when coming to a stop or at the stop sign indicates low tranny fluid or air in the fluid system.

I know this is the easiest thing but sometimes simple works

Try this

start the car
set the e-brake
hold the brake peddle
shift the car all the way down to first gear on the shifter
hold there for a minute, then do each one above that, for a minute each, until you are back into park.

after that check the transmission fluid with the car in park and the engine running. it may be low at this point if so you have to add more and then repeat all of the steps above.

May not be any help at all
worth a try cause its FREE.
