Exclamation Amp caused fire in 740i

Just the other day while driving home car filled with smoke, pulled over and flames coming out of rear drivers side trunk. Opened trunk and inside trunk behind lining where sound distribution amp is located in fender well, the fire started. Put fire out with extinguisher. Car is a mess.

Stock amp? Tail lights leaking in the past? Seen them get wet but never seen one start a fire.

No leaking tail lights and besides this distribution box is in the fender well behind the carpet trunk liner.
