crackling sound during startup? w/vid

just wondering if anyone knows what that sound is. everytime I turn the engine on, I hear a quick crackling sound in the rear. it only lasts for a second or two.

heres a vid. the sound is at the 1:40/41 mark:

*not my vid btw!

if you were to watch from the beginning, he starts the car up several times from different camera angles of the car and in each one you can slightly hear it, but at the mark I posted above is the clearest.

I believe what you're hearing is the butterfly valve in the right tailpipe closing. Look at the dual tailpipe. There's a valve on the right one that is open when the engine is off. When you start the car, it zips closed in order to provide a quieter idle. It's supposed to open back up to allow more free flow at above 2500 rpm.
Have someone else start the car, while you watch the valve with a flashlight. When it closes down, see if that's where the sound is coming from...
