BMW Service Manual( lack of info)

well purchased a Service manual for my 2007 335i convertible and they give no instructions on how to replace the convertible top seals, for that matter they say nothing about any body seal replacements,

so now what do I do? you would think somewhere it would be covered

is it like a big freekin secret, OR maybe they are lifetime seals so there is no need to tell you how to replace them

Thirty bucks for a 24-hour subscription. Set aside a big chunk of a day to learn your way around and download (print as PDF) all the topics of interest.

Bear in mind that even a reference as exhaustive as BMW's Technical Information Service often assumes you are a somewhat trained/experienced mechanic. The service instructions do note important or unusual procedures (especially safety-related requirements). However, you may still encounter instructions like "remove seal from door frame" or "compress spring using spring compressor XY-Z-ZY; remove retaining nut from strut rod; remove strut from mount." The unwritten assumption is that you have been taught how to remove a door seal in general, or how to disassemble McPherson struts in general without killing/maiming your self, car or garage.
