Lost key blade in fob

I'm driving one of my family members 2006 E90, and noticed the key blade in the fob isn't there. The car starts up and drives, but I am worried, if I really need it. I don't know, how, and where it got lost. Any help would be appreciated ASAP !

Help is best had at a dealer, where your VIN will ring a bell in the parts dept, enabling a new key to be cut.

At a price....

Yep.

But in all the years I've had an E90 I think I needed the key 2X, both in an area where there was some weird interference with the fob's signal.
