Is this "sound logic"?

My E93 radio/cd is the base version and certainly not stellar sound. Is it possible to retrofit with a Logic 7 system from Ebay or BMW blog classifieds parts?

The Logic 7 system is on the MOST loop. It's a fiber optic comm system within your car. A few other modules are also on this loop.

In addition to getting all the parts required for the L7 system, you also need to run the fiber optic cables correctly and include the factory head unit and the L7 amp into the loop.

You also need to recode your head unit to top-hifi, which is the L7 system.

To be honest, you'll spend over $1000 in just parts. You can get an aftermarket system that will sound better for that amount, probably even less.

However, going aftermarket....I suggest you still code the head unit and recode it to HiFi. This is the mid-level factory sound system, step above yours, step below L7. It outputs a line-level, flat signal out of the head unit. It's the best source for an aftermarket system.

With base or L7, you need a summing module to collect all the signals to provide a good signal for your aftermarket amps.

Best solution
Recode Head Unit as mentioned above get a Technic Harness get an amp and upgraded speakers.
most common amp used is a Jl 600/6 speakers according to budjet in links above.
Easiest Solution and as good or better(but not cheap).
