Extentedwarranty worth it ?

I own a 2008 535I with only 45k on the clock the CPO warranty is about to run out does anyone recommend an extended warranty company or purchasing the CPO wrap policy from BMW, I just had two repairs the would have cost 3k if I did not have the CPO warranty. Any input would be great.

I would recommend. You pay 2500 and sleep with out any second thought for next 50,000 Miles. This is purely MPO.
People might think in different ways.

Thanks,

I wouldn't have a 535 without some sort of warranty, personally. Many have said good things about the route 66 warranty

But I'm a little over their mileage limit (over 207K, lol)

It depends on how troublesome your 2008 is....I have had the following replaced under extended warranty (I am at 68K miles now):
Water pump
Fuel Injectors
DTML Pump
Low Pressure Fuel Pump
Xenon Headlight
Parking Sensor
Oil leak

To fix some of these problems, the car was in the shop for several weeks.

Thanks

Thanks for all the replys, I'm still looking into third party AAA, Carchek etc. Most of the pricing is high and the coverage is just major components, and non wear and tear items. There were the trouble some items repaired on the car under CPO warranty such as the water pump, navigation system, fuel high pressure pump, warranty now covers the fuel and turbos to 82K.

Look into Route 66. Hassle free claims, I say this from experience. Just had my power steering rack replaced, no questions asked. Customer service was excellent.
