my rideheight looks about the same as your pictures there now, but i cannot go any lower in the front, it is already about 50mm from the ground.

you only have 235s on the back of your car? you need some more meat like a 255 like mine

It's easier to dump a car in CA .

Try that in the northeast and you'll be lucky if your bumper valance stays intact.

Looks good dude. You've come a long way in a short time.

I agree with andy... Put 255s on it. I have 265/35/18s on mine. More treadwidth is good

yeah mines auto and it would still kick out on 235s when i didnt want to, now with the 255s (and better brand too mind you), it will never do it unless i make it deliberately.

Well i can say i went for my first spin on all 4 coil overs..

No alignment and unbalanced wheels so i only got up to maybe 50mph..

And OMFG in my life, I've maybe driven a coil overed Miata and a go kart maybe that have felt that flat, tight and toss able!!!!

Its unreal how well it handles.. Just handles like its out of a cartoon, changed my understanding of physics..

I doubt you can turn the wheel sharp enough under 80 mph without full power on to make it do anything but hook and turn..
Geesh, its good!

Go Ksport! So far... lol

What coilovers did you go with, i want to start trying to buy the parts for my suspension one by one so i can eat the cost better, i want ALL NEW EVERYTHING. I know I will be spending a pretty penny to do so, but it's my baby it will be worth it to me in the end.
Sorry if i missed it i just skimmed the thread.

Last line of my last post.. Go K sport LOL

Im doing something similar to your plan..

I've started with the coilovers and next plan to install my PU sub frame bushings and keep looking for as many other PU bushings as possible to press in over time.. Until its all new again and all the nasty old rubber is far gone..
Im also on the hunt for a good deal on aftermarket sway bars and strut bars..

Yes young grasshopper....
Coilovers are the ultimate in suspension additions and upgrades (add poly bushings where you can, Camber plates, adjustable front and rear sway links and bigger sways... Oh *****ZINDASKIS look out).
As long as you tune them correctly on all four corners you will see the true nature of what these crazy german engineers had planned for the e34.

A four door sports sedan from hell

(that's why I have a hard time selling mine. Plus I'm addicted so it balances itself out.)

I've done about 60 in a sharp 45-50 (maybe 60 degree all I know the speed drops to 25 before entering the turn) degree turn Coming from Mark189's house via backroads once with my KWs.
It sat in it and truth be told I'm a little nervous to go harder.
It handled it like a champ and didn't flinch, squeal or try to kick.
Which scared me for I think it wanted to go faster.
I just didn't want to take that bet.

Just dusting her off, thats as low as the fronts can go currently as the perch will interfere with the tire/rim otherwise it can come down another 3" or so maybe..

May need to go up to 15mm spacers in the front so i can make it sit right..

Why don't you try to plasti-dip those lights? It would look much better than the tape.......No lines between each, and it peels off like tape if you want to get rid of it.

Plasti dip is overrated..

Face lift is part of the next stage in the build.

2 new front tires, balanced.. Will hopefully solve the shaking.. And make it ride nice and allow proper alignment of the front end.

I wanna burn out the rears real good before i get those to match..

Question.
I know your aim is individualism so I'm not judging your choice of headlamps.
It's just a question out of curiosity.
Why not just put some E-codes (smileys) in and call it the day?
BTW the wheels look nice. Good snag.

I think on THAT car they look great, the high beam matches the rims too.
I have seen them on many others, and it just looks like an eye sore.

I wonder how smoked smileys would look though.

I have a plan, have you no faith in me?
And anyways all this about Euro's/Smileys idk man, heard the terms 1000x I still don't really know what they are in terms of specific differences anyways.

But i do know what I want.

That's what's up.
I didn't know if you had a plan to change them at some point or if you were going to stick with them.
I agree with sport, they do match what you got going.

So to change or not to change will not hurt your build in anyway.

Here are a few pics to keep this thread up to date.. I got 25mm spacers..

And its freaking extreme.. I've learned a lot about what is and is not possible with an e34 stance wise.. And am a touch disapointed..
I've looked at almost every e34 and though, hmm front an inch lower would be great!

Sadly ive gotten it stances out to far, to we're i cant turn.. And may need 22 or 23mm spacers to get a few MM lower out of it.. But basically any lower you lose ability to turn lol.. Good thing i drag race..

Here is a hint at the level of poke/flushness ill be achieving..

New front coil overs

The poke! I like that..

Maybe a Little tooo flush.. By like 2-3mm

It was what i originally wanted, with more lip of coarse. Real deep & dishy..

I've google image searched it and it be done 50x on an e34.. Few look right IMO.. The offset ect seems wrong..

But these have always been my favorite style of BBS wheels

IIRC that's a old pic of Mike Day's car. No sure so don't quote me on that.
If it is it looks nothing like that now.

Those are Gotti rims. Hard to find now and expensive if you do fond a set in good condition.

Today i Replaced the driver side fender i ruined in the pursuit of the ultimate e34 stance.. I also spent most of the day looking like a crack head to my neighbors removing my wheels 50x a day to adjust my suspension..

Trying to Dial it in with out hurting my fenders.. I've learned what ive had in mind is not possible with out airbags or somthing that drops the car to an un drive able level..

In theory i can pull into Bfest, and park it.. Break out the spanners and slam it for the day.. But what a pita and will take an hour.. Plus having to undo it at the end if the day and get it all right.. Ehhhhh..

Maybe 1 time..? It just sucks, i swear other cars can go lower in the front and turn.. What's the deal?

Thankfully i have a spare matching fender laying around i actually was in able to give away.. lol
