Do you have camber plates? That would change the geometry of your suspension in the front possibly allowing your to go lower.

Hah.. There maxed out..

But i got new spacers and now when the tire come up it goes under the fender so i can go a bit low.. I had so much poke the fender hit tire way to much..

I went up same drive way i barely was getting up like nothing today.. So its definitly given more room to lower the car..

And man it handles.. Loves to slide!

i had vogtland/bilsteins in my touring before i went to coilovers. Vogtlands were more comfy, but didnt have a high enough spring rate after i did my engine swap. They are designed predominantly as a comfort spring while lowering the vehicle, while the likes of H&R, Ebaich etc are more sport focussed.

My opinion:
Would i go coilovers on a road car again?
Probably not. The continuous adjustability to get that perfect handling and look setup is cool, i have got the front setup perfectly now, still playing with the rear. However they are less comfortable than a conventional setup, and come later on in life when they start to wear, im not sure what the servicability is like???
Especially with our roads down here in this third world country Phil, i wouldnt bother again. The american roads are a lot flatter than our goat tracks they call state high way one

Yea, makes sense - different things for different applications - I'd heard that Vogtlands were the 'ducks nuts' too. But yea, figured most of the guys on coil-overs don't get the potholes or gravel roads that we / I do....even my driveway is gravel...

Theres a chance mine might have to do a very reluctant run through the Molesworth Station road (somewhere I've only ever taken Landcruiser's & 4Runner's), so I don't want it any lower until after that. I'm not convinced going through there on 17's, & without a sump guard is a bright idea anyway. 540i rally car...........??!!

Interesting concept coil-overs though............ Be great on tracks, drifting etc.......

Only $75 for rear sub-frame mount R&R That seems pretty good.

Looks like that negative camber from the lowls is already eating up those tires

You know that you now have to post a vid with a sound clip of that exhaust right

Those tires came like that with the rims. Only fronts are new so far..

The 75$ is for just the mount.. I just pulled the old one, looks ok.. Feels solid

Kinda baffled and praying this solves it.. I swear i watched it jump like it would fall apart off of the car. lol

I have a video coming when its all working right

I replied on your not centered thread. Here's a pic of your subframe.

Here's a pic of the diff

Here's what I was looking for on the last thread. I had the wrong pic.

You've checked that bracket and all the bolts that connect to it?
One of those bolts in that bracket (no#6) is what mark185 sheared off.
IIRC he didn't notice it for it looked ok. But he ran over it with a fine toothed comb and found one had broken.
It's one of those things you have to check even if it looks ok.

I say this for it looks like you have zero support back there except the bush mount (no#9)above it.

I just replaced number 9. Thats supposed to stop this!

All bolts are fine.. Sadly!

OK let's step away for a second and just think.
It's jumping will your in load no need to answer. these questions are to help us figure this out.
What reverberates while load is applied?
Your diff is stock right? You made zero changes or swapped it correct? (you can answer this one)

You've said you checked the subframe bushings #2 on the subframe pic.
You've changed the diff mount on the 3rd pic.
You changed all the bolts on that bracket right?
How about the bracket in the front of the diff? Bracket no#1

lol,

I built the diff, e32 3.15 open end, that i put a LSD unit in.. Built it with new bearing and seals..

Its been fine, i drag raced all day no issue..

I then did the motor swap, and many upgrades.. Ever since the motor swap.. Its clunked..

I did new m60
6 puck stage 4 clutch ( i do know the difference between diff hop and clutch chatter)
Revshift motor mounts
New slave cylinder and SS line

At the time... Trying to remember what else.. Oem parts mainly.

Since to correct this, I

Had the driveshaft rebuilt!!!
New CSB
New guilbo
New #19 diff mount..

Checked my front bolt..
& wished it would just disapear..

Nothing's helped..

#2 subframe bushings. Have PU but not yet installed but do not belive they can do this? Am i mistaken..?

Diff mount - eliminated

The bolts were fine, not replaced..

#1 diff bracket - i removed bolt #5 its fine.

I suspected the nose of bracket #1 had broken today.. But then i thought if so, when bolt 5 was removed it should of fallen out, or at least not been right there for the bolt to go back in.

Doubt a bend will affect it as such.

May pull diff out just to reinstall and hope lol.

Thank you for everything, i need your mental comb to go over it..

Real oem ect, i dont really have much use.. Only iphone 4 internet

We know load is transmitted down stream throught the drivetrain.
The cushions are the motor mounts, transmounts, flexdisc, csb,
Subframe bushings, and the diff mount.

Since it appears to be only in the rear of the car it's flash point is there.
We just have to find it. Unfortunately being you drag the car it could also be likely it's the diff itself. But for argument sake let's say it's not.

So what do we have left. All the bushings, brackets, and bolts supporting the diff.

IMO I'd give it one more once over even if I had to remove the diff and then put it back in.

However your saying it started once you put the new engine in.
Which leads me once again to the drivetrain. Is the driveshaft lined up correctly?
is the flex disc in good condition? is it a poly or OEM flex disc?

Understand I'm guessing. But I'm trying to draw a picture of where the source of the is located.
