Since it has been dealer maintained it is likely to be up to date on all the recalls and scheduled items. The only thing to be concerned about is something many 335i owners have had to deal with; intake valve fouling. However, if the engine pulls strong, has a smooth idle and linear acceleration then you don't have the problem or it has already been 'fixed'.
Other than that the twin turbo has held up well. What kind of warranty would you be getting with the car?

We replaced my Wife's '01 X5, 4.4i with an '07 335i coupe and I've never seen her happier about her car. It was a CPO with @ 70k with ALL the records and maintenance/warranty work all done by the dealer...no surprises. So far no issues with caked-up valves, but figure @ 100k I'll treat it to a good walnut blasting...hopefully by then the procedure will be fairly standard and fall under the $500 mark, (been quoted @ $1000)
You'll love the 335i twin turbo...she can blow the doors off my 540/6...ouch

You will be able to find and indy or a BMW tech doing a weekend group buy that will do it for under $500. If you can't, go out and recruit one in your area. He will appreciate the extra cash.

Welllllllllll here we go again.....DIY? Easy enough on a weekend, and educational!

Check THIS

Thread HERE

Assuming you have a compressor & shop vac, dramatically less expensive than any Indy. 2nd time, cost is, what, $35? If you don't have the time, an Indy's best. Avoid dealer! Then again, you might be very flush....
