At the port waiting for a ship. Hope it gets on the Tortugas, but not holding my breath.

My scheduled completion date is 10/12 out of Regensburg. I'm hoping to catch the Elektra out of Bremerhaven on 10/19, getting into Port Hueneme on 11/13.

anyone know at what point the status will change to include shipping info? Right now, "at port waiting for shipping vessel" but no shipping info. Will they add it once it is on the ship or would they already have it scheduled to be on a vessel at this point? Hoping for the Tortugas 10/5!!

Mine has been sitting at the dock in Bremerhaven since Tuesday, hoping for the Tortugas also. Let's keep our fingers crossed

My understanding is that ED vehicles can be scheduled for specific ships but the cars coming directly from the production line are not. Its a crap shoot. I have read posts on this forum that indicate port waiting times of 3 to 23 days. It also appears its not a FIFO process.

The Tortugas has been docked in Bremerhaven for about a week. I assume it will move to the auto export area tomorrow to get loaded and head out on Saturday.

In regard to shipping info being available, sometimes it takes a couple days after the ship departs for your VIN to show up.

I too am hoping to get my car on that ship.

How are you tracking the Tortugas (the ship not the animals!).

Well, my car is now "en route to the US" according to the website, so I assume that must mean it's on the Tortugas.

Bremerhaven to California (waiting at the port)

Kaxon, when did your car finish production and when did it arrive at the port?

I think it started production September 13 and arrived at the port some time around September 24 (I don't remember the exact day).

Kaxson,

Its possible your car is on the Sagittarius Leader whcih left Bremerhaven on the 26th. NYK Lines doesnt have way (that I know of) to check to see if your vehicle is on their ships. However, your CA will know.

I would think you are on the Sagittarius Leader.

You can check and see if its on the Tortugas at this site:

https://att.2wglobal.com/gstattweb/o...ckSearchResult

Enter the last 7 digits of your VIN in the "Cargo ID" field and hit the track button. If that comes up with no record, try your full VIN number.

Let us know if you get a status from the above website.

Hey, thanks. I don't know what my VIN is, all I have is the production order number. So I guess I need to contact the dealer.

It looks like the departure date from Bremerhaven for the Tortugas has changed to 10/7 from 10/5.

The arrival date at PORT HUENEME, 10/30, has not changed.

%****! Hopefully the Tortugas can really keep that 10/30 date for Port Hueneme.

If Port Hueneme would update the schedule on their website, perhaps we would find another ship that has/will be leaving Bremerhaven shortly. Apparently they are having system problems.

The Toronto has arrived at Port Hueneme.

TORONTO (UK) has docked at Port Hueneme based on the link provided. Means my car, 2014 335i M Sport , AW, Red/Coral and M Performance is on US land. I hope by next week it will at my dealer in Northern California. As much as I am excited, I am also sad to parting with my 2011 335i M Sport.

The Tortugas has moved to the Auto Export Area. The ramp is up so I'm guessing it will load tomorrow. Good luck to all.

Hey JT what's the update? My status hasn't changed via the 1-800 number. Has anyone confirmed they are on the Tortuga?

The Tortugas is still at the dock loading. This is a picture from about 8:45 AM Bremerhaven time today. My VIN still isnt showing up on the WW tracking site but from what I have read, its not unusual for it to take a couple days.
