Not for me. I received two or three letters and had the work done about a week ago.

Good for you. I have been training my mind to remember pulling up the emergency brake button should it happen. But I might just freak out when brake failure suddenly occurs during driving. Scary!!

I was recently at my dealer and asked about this and said there was no official recall. I had searched on BMW's website under recalls and found that the car was to be recalled, then after dropping my car off for a different recall it doesn't seem to be listed as a recalled car for anything. This is my pregnant wife's car, what is the deal now?

The recall is definitely official but not all N20 engines are included. Maybe try calling BMW NA and see what they say regarding your specific vehicle?

Mein Auto: whatever the Mrs doesn't
I had the recall done on my N20 a couple weeks ago. I got a letter from BMWNA saying my car was affected and to bring it in. Got to drive around in an X1 for the day.
