E30 (1982 - 1993)
God's Chariot. The E30 was produced primarily from 1982 through 1991. The cabriolet was the one exception which was produced through 1993.

Intake manifold questions.

My friend has an 87 325i and we are doing a little bit to it. I was wondering if the intake manifold from my 90 325i would fit and work sense we have to take his off and I have an extra one?

Are you certain the '87 325i manifold is indeed from a "i" engine? (M20B25), because '87 had the "e" engine still (M20B27) in some cars. Those will not interchange to the best of my knowledge.

If they look different your friend doesn't have a 325i he has a 325e or at least he has an e motor in his car your motor and his should be almost identical .The only differences are in the wiring (electrical control systems) all the other major parts are all the same from 87'- 91'. Maybe post a couple of pics someone will quickly let you know what's up.

The real giveaway on these two is the cold start valve. If it has one it's an E motor.
