Just got my new X3 3.0...

Hiya folks, just bought my first BMW over the weekend and wanted to post a few pictures.

Sticker was $41,520.. drove off the lot for about $38,800... hopefully a good deal. I got it from BMW of Austin, and let me just say, the buying experience was excellent. Easy negotation, not a lot of high pressure upsale in the finance room, and no hidden or unexpected fees.

Congrats on the purchase boy she looks good especially with the x-large moonroof and a six speed manual! Man i just dig bimmer SAVs with manual trannys . Who was your salesman? Just wondering cause i bought my 330 last month from a salesman by the name of Steve, nice guy and they gave me a deal i just couldnt walk away from. By the way what subdivison do you live in? Its look very familar like my neighborhood.

Stephen Tremont was my salesguy. Nice, easy going and upfront about everything.

As for the neighborhood, I live in/on The Mountain. The road in the background in one of the bottom pictures is Scotland Well.

Yeah that was my salesguy too, he gave me the car to drive around in for 2 whole days before signing the papers. I paid $39,300 for my car and the sticker was $44,500 steve was real easy to bargain with and calm about the whole buying process. No rushing or irrating phone calls, during the whole process i never spoke to him on the phone, just in person i would just stop by and let him know that i was still thinking about it. He would just say fine just go home and drive around some more. Also he has a badass bimmer bike did you see it?

black is the only color that goes with the x3 I think because of the black bumper...

It's a very nice suv but my only complain is the interior, it's not up to par compare to the 3 series...

since you bought it...what did you think of the interior?

Well, I did actually for the first time last night have a friend sit in it and call the interior "spartan".

From my perspective though, I'd describe it as "clean". I still prefer the interior in most other new BMW's out there--with the exception of the Z4--but I don't think the X3 looks bad. It just looks... minimalistic.

I will admit that the texturing on some of the interior is a little odd, but I'd say it all still feels very high quality to me, at least.

All in all, I'd say thumbs up all around--interior included.
