No Sound From CD Changer Though Showing Tracks

My CD changer is going through the cds, showing track numbers and even changing tracks however no sound is coming out. Anyone had this issue before?

You have to re-seat the cable that goes on the CD-changer. Have you done that? Sometimes it gets dirty and causes the problems you are describing. My method involved getting rid of the CD Changer.

Because when they get to the age most CD changers are in our E36s, they become troublesome pieces of crap. Finding a properly working remote changer these days is becoming more and more difficult. There are more that don't work than those that do.
