A technic harness alone will not make and L7 system work.

A technic harness alone will not make and L7 system work.
You have to have the right Technic Harness and reprogram the Head Unit
to Hi Fi or use mobridge da2 as a preamp. You have to understand the way the
L7 works its uses fiberoptics, settings are the last thing you have to worry about.

Its complicated please read

That's the add a sub harness.

That's the add a sub harness.
You shouldn't loose your settings but I would write them down just to be sure.
You may get some error messages on the dash that will go away once you drive
the car . The radio settings should be stored in the Key Fob.
There are lots of wiring and system examples on the board I pointed you to.
Also it looks like Technic has explained it pretty well.
How big is your amp that will determine if exceeds the capacity of the car to keep up with it.
Technic also sells a power wire kit .
Some people go right to the lugs on the battery be sure to fuse it.
