Back to the topic:
Today is pedal box & BMS install day for me. A little bit concerned about pedal box install. I am confused how to remove center console. Do I need to pull it up or slide the wood trim? I wish I could find a video on how to remove these pieces. I even failed to disconnect the pedal cable at my first try. Wish me luck. Let see what happens next

Aom7 where are the screws for the center wood located? Just ordered a pedalboox and would like to installand run cable your way.

Can anyone answer my question in the above post? I've been googling and can't find any info. May start a thread if I don't get an answer soon.

I think they are under the cover next to where you push the buttons to open the armrest storage where the phone cradle is.

Yes, just pop off that plastic silver looking thing that surround the buttons/keyhole. They're just held on by pressure and if anything will probably already be a little loose.

No. Not needed. It will eventually turn itself off when the car cuts power to it after about 10 min.

I do not turn it off either. However I recommend not to leave it on at sport + mode. Sport + mode some have affecting idle RPM on mine. My default setting is echo with 3+. Knock on wood, not a single glitch.

Now I want one of these suckers. Probably really mess up my already crappy gas mileage though.

That's strange. Mine has been in Sport + w/ level 3 since day one and I have not noticed any RPM issues.

Do you have RWS? Not sure what else it may be.

Just the opposite. If you use it at Eco mode, you may see slight improvement on mpg. I was running 15-16mpg after pedal box running it slightly higher 17-18 mpg.

quick question, my check engine light was on for 3 days, now it turned off by itself! Should I cancel my service appointment?

I wouldn't. It might just come back, if it's still in memory (which it should be), this is still the best time to have them look at it.

The check engine light appeared because I turned the pedalbox on while the car was warming up (bad idea). Well won't do it again

Should get mine today. Only fear is messing up the wood trim upon removal. Just two screws by the ashtray area? and pop it off?

That's all there is, the two screws under the armrest lock cover, then carefully start pulling up... working your way to the front... you'll feel the clips releasing.

Don't pry anything. After removing the screws, all items slide back and out.
