I don't own one but I did have it for 2 days as a loaner while my G37 was in for service. It is a great SUV. I love everything about it EXCEPT it is a gas guzzler, I average about 21 mpg(mostly freeway) which isn't too bad. I had the v6 version which had plenty of power and torque. The interior is nice, navigation interface is simple and easy to use and the display screen is nice and bright. The exhaust note has a very nice deep growl to it just like the G37 and the handling is very impressive. I bought an Lexus RX330 for my dad and the handling was aweful compare to the FX37. Also in magazines they voted the FX37 as one of the sportiest and best handling SUV.

Just curious why you are looking at it over the new X3, it is faster, gets better fuel economy by quite a bit, has more cargo capacity and interior volume, has basically the same technology, x3 has a few more features by the looks of it and on top of it, the X3 is cheaper with the same options including m-sport.

The FX is also no more, it is the QX70 although they just renamed it and it hasn't been changed from the FX.

Just curious as I just bought a 2014 X3 and the FX37 was a nice car but it wasn't a match for the X3, you need an FX50 to to get close to the same performance as the X3 35i and it is 15 grand more. FX37 is a great car but a bit overpriced - if you prefer the looks though and can get a good discount then that may tip the scales for you.

Fx is a nice SUV just curious if you have had a chance to compare it to an x3?

Infiniti is not immune to problems. Fx is known to have consistent rotor warping problems. My coworker had his dash crack as well.

I know BMW's have their share of problems, but my wife used to be a lexus customer and after a GX470 and RX350, both had endless issues I got her over to a BMW and they have been much much more reliable, but that being said, I always drive them under warranty and can deal with a few issues here and there if I don't have to pay for it.

That being said, if i was going to by a Japanese car these days - it would be an Infiniti - it is the closest thing from Japan to a BMW for how it drives and the FX platform is pretty well proven, drive train is very well proven - good luck if you decide to go that way!
