ABS brake and TC lights came on

2007 335I, 50K miles, my ABS, Brake and I believe its the traction control lights came on last week, then went off then came back on last night, I have search the forum and seems several have had the issue but no one posted what the fix was,

any one want to take a stab at it?

I have hit the brakes hard and the ABS still pumps the brakes, I would assume if the module was bad it wouldnt pump the brakes? the DTC switch does nothing now

otherwise its a trip to the Stealer Dealer

ok now all the warning lights are off again,, only thing I did today was check the Front Left wheel speed senor. un plug the sensor at the junction box in the wheel and plug the wire back in, it cant be that easy

A faulty wheel sensor can cause it, can you read codes, that would be the place to start if it comes back.

The only one, aside from GT1.

Cal
I saw your post about another thread this morning and I purchased the code reader about a minute later, so I will have the hardware and software, it looks like this program is pretty intense

and you can get a lot of information out of it, Like having load of ammunition when you have to go to the dealer to get work done

one more thing ,, just went out and started the car and the warning lamps are still offf

I think that 75 percent of reasons BMW's go to the shop the problem is sensor related

If you had the ABS module/pump/distrubutor failing you would get the trifecta of warning and none of them would be show DTC. They would show brake-ABS-DSC in the upper instrument section and the large ABS where your D for drive usually is.
Here is the DIY which I am doing this week.
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=600491

Codes reveal what is wrong in my case anyway but in your case I think you are spot on that you have an ABS/wheel sensor acting up.

Good thing as the part is north of 1000 bucks plus reprogramming the ABS module in case you cannot transfer the old one to the new one.

I use Carsoft which does everything but allow registration to read coded BT is excellent but I have been researching BMW What app for my Iphone and wifi interface. I think I will keep that in my car for trips.
